Safety System for a Press Machine

Power press machines are machines used to forge sheet metal to a particular shape using forging tools (dies). The sheet metal to be forged is placed on a die and a force of required magnitude is applied, by the motion of a ram, to get a definite shape. The force applied may be anywhere between 10 tons and 160 tons.
There are basically two types of power press machines. Power presses with
          Rolling key clutches
          Pneumatic clutches
The machines with pneumatic clutch have an electronic activation circuit which can be easily replaced with this new circuit design that has many more features; that makes the process easy and most importantly, safer. The machines with rolling key clutches have to be installed with a separate mechanism that activates the key and this mechanism can be easily controlled by this circuit with two button operation. Hence removing any arduous work and also making the whole process much safer. The circuit has been ingeniously designed only with simple electrical connections that can’t be by passed to start the machine, yet can be easily debugged by a lay man who knows how to make electrical connections.
